International EcoHealth 2008 Forum: Registration Fees include access to all Forum sessions; Lunch; Reception Cocktail; and Gala Dinner. See the Forum Program for details about times, dates, other benefits, and restrictions.

Developed and Developing Country Classification: Countries classified as “developing countries” for the purpose of the International EcoHealth Forum 2008 are those whose economies are listed by the World Bank as “Low Income”, “Lower Middle Income”, or “Upper Middle Income” in the World Development Report 2007. All other countries (not listed) are considered “Developed Countries”. For details click on World Development Report 2007. If you work for an international organization/institution. Employees of international organizations or institutions including WHO, PAHO, IDRC, the World Bank, and others are asked to pay the developed country fee even if they reside in a developing country.

International Association for Ecology and Health (EcoHealth): On the next page of the registration process, you may select the option to join the EcoHealth Association at no extra cost beyond the Forum Registration fees listed above. Benefits of membership include: 2009 print subscription to the Springer journal, EcoHealth; online access to all back issues of EcoHealth; full access to all EcoHealth activities; and complete access to EcoHealth Association member network. If you choose to join the EcoHealth Association, upon completion of the International EcoHealth 2008 Forum Registration, you will be only billed for a reduced Forum Registration rate. You then will be required to pay the difference (which is the reduced-rate 2009 EcoHealth Membership fee) upon arrival in Mérida at the Forum venue. If you do choose to become an EcoHealth member now or at any time before or during the Forum, you must pay your 2009 EcoHealth Membership at the Forum Registration booths. Volunteers from the EcoHealth Association will be available at all times to assist you and provide membership details.
